About Aurora Snow
Aurora Snow is an American performer and director, born in 1981 in Santa Maria, California. She entered the industry at 18 planning to stay a year and ended up with a fifteen-year career. Slim, fair-haired, small natural chest, a black cat tattoo on the back of her neck. Raised by a single mother, the oldest of three. She became one of the defining anal and gonzo performers of the 2000s.
Career
She started in 2000 and retired in 2015, with a directing stretch from 2003 to 2005. The resume is enormous, hundreds of video credits and a huge cover count, and it leans hard into the extreme end, anal, double penetration, double-anal and gaping.
She built a reputation for the roughest gonzo on the market, double-anal and gaping included, with a self-titled Violation of Aurora Snow release early on. Fifteen years at that intensity is a long time, and she stepped back on her own terms.
Style on screen
Anal, ATM, DP, DAP, DVP, deepthroat, fisting and gaping, plus glamour and girl/girl. The heavier the menu, the more she was known for it. Bisexual on camera, comfortable across every framing, from glamour lesbian sets to the roughest gonzo shoots. Squirting and interracial work show up across the run too.
Off-screen
She writes, and has kept a public profile as an American industry voice long after retiring. Active on Instagram and Twitter as MissAuroraSnow, around 39,000 followers. She's been open about the one-year plan that became a career.
Recognition
XRCO Hall of Fame inductee and a CAVR All-Time Top Ten name, plus an AVN nomination early on. The hall-of-fame status puts her a tier above most of her contemporaries on this kind of resume.
