Privacy Policy

What we collect

Our first-party analytics collector receives: page URL, referrer, screen size, and clicks on outbound affiliate links. The payload is keyed by a session identifier (described under Cookies below). Without an account, we do not collect names, email addresses, or any personal identifier. If you open an account, we store what is listed under Accounts and What we store for an account below. Analytics data goes to our own server at fapstarsdb.com, and no third-party ad network receives it.

Cookies

We set a first-party cookie named _fdb. It holds a randomly generated session token used to group pageviews within a single browsing session. The token contains no personal data. It expires after 38 minutes of inactivity and is not used for cross-site tracking or advertising.

Signed-in members also get a second cookie, fsdb_s, described under Account cookie below.

We do not use Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel, or any other third-party analytics or advertising cookies.

Affiliate links and third-party sites

Some links on this site are affiliate links that take you to studios and membership platforms. When you follow one, that site's own privacy policy applies. We never see your payment data, subscription details, or any information you submit on destination sites.

Third-party content loaded on this page

Pages on fapstarsdb.com load fonts from Google Fonts (fonts.googleapis.com and fonts.gstatic.com). That request goes to Google servers and is subject to Google's privacy policy. No other third-party scripts or tracking pixels are loaded on this site.

Accounts

You don't need an account to use fapstarsdb.com. Every page is open without one. An account lets you follow a performer, vote with a thumbs up or down, and post comments.

What we store for an account

When you sign up, we keep your email address and your password, stored only as a hash (the site generates the password and emails it to you). We also keep the performers you follow, your votes, your comments, and three dates: when you registered, when you activated the account, and when you last signed in.

To catch abuse, we store a hash of your IP address (not the address itself) next to account actions, from signing up to casting a vote.

Account cookie

Signing in sets one more cookie, fsdb_s. It holds your login session, is marked HttpOnly and Secure, and lasts 90 days. Signing out deletes it.

Emails we send

There are three kinds: the sign-up confirmation (with an activation link and your password), a new password when you ask for one, and a note about new scenes from performers you follow. That last one goes out at most once a day. Each new-scenes email has a one-click unsubscribe link, or you can untick the option on your account page.

We don't sell your email address or pass it to anyone else, and we don't use it for advertising.

Comments

Comments go live only after we review them by hand. They're signed "Member #N" and your email address is never shown.

Deleting your account

The Delete account button on /account/ removes your account at once, together with your follows, votes, and comments.

No data sale

We do not sell, trade, or rent the analytics data we collect. It is used solely for understanding site usage (which pages are visited, how visitors arrive) and is not shared with advertisers or data brokers.

Age

This site is intended for adults 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect information from persons under 18. If you believe a minor has accessed this site, contact us and we will take appropriate action.

Your rights (GDPR, UK GDPR, CCPA)

If you are in the EU, UK, or California, you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of any session data associated with your IP address or session token. To exercise those rights, email privacy@fapstarsdb.com. We will respond within 30 days. If you have an account, you can delete it yourself with the Delete account button on /account/.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when our practices change. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects when it was last revised. Continued use of the site after a change means you accept the updated policy.
