About Gina Lynn
Gina Lynn, born Tanya Mercado on 15 February 1974 in Mayagüez, Puerto Rico, is a Latina performer, director and former Penthouse Pet with Puerto Rican and Italian parents. She grew up in Jackson, New Jersey. Blonde, blue-eyed, 5'2" and 34D-24-34. Her career ran from the late 1990s to 2012, with side trips into music videos and television, and Penthouse made her a Pet at 38.
Career
She danced first, and IAFD records a Nightmoves win for Best Feature Dancer. Men's magazine work followed, including Chéri in 2001. IAFD dates her performer credits from 1999; her adult film debut as a contract girl for Pleasure Productions came in 2003. She then set up Gina Lynn Productions in Reading, Pennsylvania, and IAFD lists her as a director from 2004 to 2010.
Her scene work spread across a lot of brands. Indexxx counts 41 sites and 65 sets, led by 28 for Twistys, 18 for Brazzers and seven for Naughty America. Brazzers used her on Big Tits at Work, Big Tits in Sports and Doctor Adventures, and she also shot for Bang Bros, Reality Kings, Jules Jordan and Aziani. She announced her retirement in 2012 and kept doing webcam shows afterward.
Style on screen
Mostly boy/girl in scripted MILF setups: blowjobs, facials, deep throat and titty-focused camera work. Babepedia adds anal, creampie and interracial, and girl/girl scenes with kissing and oral. Kelly Madison worked with her twice.
Off-screen
She married performer Travis Knight in 1999 and they divorced in 2012. Outside porn she appeared in Eminem's "Superman" video and Vinnie Paz's "Keep Movin' On", worked as an extra in Analyze That and Minghags, and had a short speaking part as a stripper in a 2004 episode of The Sopranos. She's on Instagram as @msgforce44, about 8,000 followers as of April 2026, and on X as @TrulyGinalynn. The word "Gigmo" is tattooed at the base of her neck.
Recognition
Penthouse Pet of the Month for April 2012. The Nightmoves dancer award was a win; the AVN nod for Web Starlet of the Year and the Urban Spice nomination for Best Female Performer weren't.
